Default New 175 W Mogul Bulbs

I am waiting for my bulbs to arrive and with new bulbs - how many hours do you start with per day and what is the duration of increase in hours over time?

2 foot tank

all I have is SOFTIES...

fixture can be adjusted as high or as low as I want...

I always ran them at 12 but it was the distance from the light that mattered for softies...you could run them at 8

are you talking inches or hours?

How should I start off though?

2-3 hours/ day and work up an hour every 3 days or is there some type of standard?

Sorry 12 hrs...your schedule sounds ok........I remember my zoos were in the lower half of the tank..softies are pretty tough
