Default Euro-reef Gate Valve Mod

Doesn’t seem like there is a lot of info out there anymore on how to preform this mod.

I've had my good old euro-reef cs 6-1 for probably sevenish years. Just replaced the pump about 6 months ago (third pump now). I want too upgrade but I hopefully will do a entire system upgrade next year, so i figured I'll tough it out.

Recently It seemed not too work as well, not bad considering I was using the good old sponge but the sponge began to annoy me so i decided too do the gate valve mod.

I'm just running a dry skimmate until it broken in again and then I'll change to a wet skimmate.

I'll also make sure to report back in a few days how it is performing.
