Wondering if anyone have success with hosting sand sifter gobies (six spots) in 280 gallons tank?

I am not sure but have a question about them... How much do the bump your live rock?... Do u have ur live rock epoxyed together or does it just sit on each other?

I am asking cause I want to get one but have heard if ur rock isn't secure they can knock it over

U mean sands? Don't use fine sands (sugar grain). Not really, just a little where his cage is. I use turkey baster to blow dirts of the rocks and blow sands off too.

I had a pair at one time. They got along fine for a bit they would always be side by side sifting away. They would makes homes around the tank under the rocks and shared them. There must have been a fight one day because they started keeping to separate ends of the tank and keeping their own little holes. Not sure what went wrong.

As far as the rock work goes. They liked to dig under everything to build their dens. I never had any problems with them moving the rock work. I put my rocks in then sand so that may have helped
