Do some more research before making this purchase. You will find that very few reefer use UV sterilizers. A more popular approach, although still not very common, is to use an ozone generator. Ozone has it's own set of complicated problems that you need to understand and work through, but has a better overall effect in your tank.

Bulk Reef Supply carries some good UV sterilizers. If you do go this route, I would definitely go with top of the line - although after a lot of very thorough research, I decided that for my tank, there was no practicle use for UV.

Just my thoughts.

For a 230 I would go at least a 36watt or a 55watt would be even better.

I have a turbo twist on my 90. For some reason all the stores sell the replacement bulbs for like $50! (you can get them online out of Oregon for like < $20).

I love mine, keeps the Ich at bay. I'll run it for a week, then off for a few weeks, then on for a week, etc.
