a saltwater fish is one I consider compatible with saltwater, this molly is compatible - therefore I call it a saltwater molly since putting into fresh water has a chance to kill it. What you my call it - I have no idea.

any mollys wan be put in freach of salt but have to be swiched over so this is as of now a slat watter moly
