Default getting maxi-mini anemones off of a rock

Seems my dragon faced pipefish (favourite fish) landed on one and died. I like pipefish way more then i like nems so they have got to go. most are in some pretty good crevices so i'm not able to get at the foot.

I have been trying to shade them out by placing a rock over it but they just seem to be stretching farther out. any other suggestions

Try an ice cube to get them to release, it worked for me on several occasions.

I have had success using a small maxi pump.point it at the foot and use an old credit card to help pry it off the rock.

if you can pull the rock out even better and use an old credit card or plastic hotel key to pry it off.

good luck

Doesn't matter how much you have been reading until you take the plunge.
You don't know as much as you think.

Yes when I get them off the rock. Probably going to be a while since I'm one handed for the next little bit
