Default Little kid fun with reefing

Hi all,

Just thought I would share how much our 3 year old has been enjoying the process of us setting up our tank. She has been back and forth to Bayside (which she calls the coral store) so much she now if we haven't been for a few days she says the fish are lonely for her.

She is also loving the leftovers of stuff. For the past 2 weeks our living room has been a mess of boxes, tools, pipes, and styrofoam aka the best playground ever. Taking screwdrivers and poking holes through styrofoam is near the top of the fun list, as is using the stuff to draw on/scratch into. Packing tubes are great for looking and/or yelling through.

The latest fun toy is a length of tubing leftover from installing the ATO. It's been a lasso, a thing to spin around, a necklace, and now she's figured out you can blow in it and feel the air come out the other end. Apparently it's also a bath toy to take in and blow bubbles. Thankfully she didn't (yet) figure out its just as easily a straw.

I'm sure the money saved on kid toys has offset the cost of the setting up the tank. :P
