Default Are my t5 enough for my new tank

Hey everyone,

I just upgraded to a tank to is 36 inches long and I have a 24" 4 bulb t5.
Do you think that this fixture is sufficient for my new tank if I raise it up further from the tank?

The tank is 18 inches wide by 17 inches deep.
It is a sunlight supply 24" 4 t5 fixture

Personally I think it'd be fine for LPS and softies. Not so sure about SPS tho...

You could probably keep SPS high up in the tank with a 4 Bulb fixture but you won't be able to keep them lower than 8" under the water probably.

Okay, My main concern was that the tank would look strange without a fixture the entire length of the tank. But I guess the only way I can find out is to get the new tank set up and running!
