Default JBJ Nano Cube Drilling

Drilling the back of my daughter's 24g JBJ Nano cube this evening when I get home. They will be for fittings for the input to the chiller and media reactor and then return back to the nano.

Any tips and tricks I can use for this?

What size hole are you drilling and where abouts?

Here are pics of how I drilled my tank: http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=63026

I'll be drilling into the back wall of the aquarium. The bottom is tempered glass so naturally I don't want to be doing anything with that.

The outlet to the chiller will be nearest the bottom and the inlet will be a few inches above that. I'll have to do a 90 deg angle in there in order to be able to connect back to the sprayer in the display.

I'll be drilling a 30mm and a 40mm hole.

Sounds be straight forward. I've always used a red marker to draw a line on one part of the diamond holesaw, just so I can more easily estimate the rpm. Take your time, allow it to take as long as it needs to and the result will be a nice clean hole. Listen to the sound it makes as cutting, it will change in tone if you are binding or getting ready to break through. Good luck!
