Angry Foxface Nipping Zoos

I just put a large clump of Zoos in the tank. One cluster is orange & brown but the other side is pink & blue & green. Beautiful!!!! Guess which are getting nipped! GURRRRRRRRRRRR. I have moved them up near the top of the tank where the Foxface seldom ventures...Hope this works.

Before adding did not close off the lights and leave them off untill the morning.
If not she and other fish will check out the new addition.
She will eat it if she is hungry so feed her.

When my foxfaces have nipped corals in the past, I have found it to be a temporary problem. Even for established corals. Unfortunately, depending on the size of the coral colony, it could mean life or death for the coral.
I have found that by making a protective cage for the coral (usually out of eggcrate material) the fish will eventually ignore the coral.
Make sure that you have your foxface well fed with a varied diet.
