Hello,

You place the reactor below your display tank, and run the siphon line up to the display tank. Then water from the display tank will push its way into the reactor due to gravity.

Problem with this is if you place your siphon line too low into the display tank and the power goes, you may have a flood (slowly but in time) by overflowing your sump.

This is a better way to do things than using a dedicated feeding pump IMO. Just a more KISS approach than the dedicated pump method. Though an even better way is to have it self siphon.

Titus

I gotta dissagree with the kiss principle and running a feed pump. I have my pump gravity (suction) fed on the same level as my sump and its flawless and never deviates from being so.

Kiss IMO is running a reactor with only one pump for recircualation and having it do all the jobs rather then running 2 pumps.

Just another opinion.
