Every year, at the summer solstice, thousands of dogs are tortured and eaten at the dog meat festival in Yulin, China. It started in 2010 and has no religious or ceremonial value. The dogs are beaten and then, boiled, burned amputated, skinned alive — crying out in agony as people cheer on the butchers. Then the poor creatures are fed to people all over the city.
Help end the dog meat trade.
I ask that the donation be made to
SOI dog instead of a handful of other charites because they are a not for profit, and have a Canadian Charity #. If you would pefer to make a donation a different charity thats fine as well but please make sure you know the money is going toward this cause
