Really love the aesthetics of these guys, but looking to go the Tunze route for complete silence as my setup will be in family room.
As such, up for sale are:
1) MP40W (great shape) - all parts approximately one year old
2) MP40W (great shape) - with brand new wet side (3 days old, 1 year warranty), brand new power supply (2 days old), dry side approximately one year old
3) MP20 - consists of a noisy dry side (a bearing
replacement is in order, generation 1 wet side (also not quiet, but functioning), MP40W controller, MP20 power supply. As such, this powerhead can be used:
a) as a functioning, but noisy MP20 (using existing parts)
b) as a functioning, but noisy MP40W (by adding an MP40 power supply - approx $58)
c) as a perfectly functioning MP40W (bearing swap $10, MP40 power supply $58, and a new wet side - approximately $87)
d) spare parts
$600 for all three pumps - prefer to sell as a package, and locally to allow buyer to inspect prior to purchase. Will ship, however, on buyer's request.
