Collies are prone to biting as they are trained to herd and it is part of their genetic makeup and if they aren't given an outlet to release their ingrained traits can nip, bite and attack with little or no warning however if they are given an outlet to release that built up tension regularly through exercise, herding or agility course runs they can be the consummate pet
