The one thing to watch out is the effect it has on tank temperature in the winter. Even here in mild Vancouver I had to add an extra 400 Watt heater to keep the temperature up. Thanks for the note! I'll watch that for sure come winter. I do have an 800 watt titanium heater for a 100 gallon system, so it should be able to keep up. But i'll watch for changes when the temp drops for sure.
