They can go in any size tank "temporarily" - as soon as their food supply is gone (green hair algae) you must trade them back the LFS or to another reefer with algae. They will soon die without green hair algae. and they are very efficient workers so just be prepared to move him as soon as he is finished cleaning up the tank.
