Normally I would hesitate to contradict someone who sold me the low cost and beautiful MH light that he did ... but ... HVAC to code prevents sucking CO back down a hot water, dryer or furnace pipe and into the house and the various colourful but bad side effects that follow ... I did that just once and gained a whole new respect for code.
