So, I went from BNIB to the first tank reading in about 10 minutes. By default it reads PPT / º C, changed those. Calibration was super easy, the test itself took about 10 seconds to stabilize for the final reading.

My tank should be at 78º F on the dot, Hanna reads 77.9º F.

Now for the goods:

Hanna HI98319 - 1.025 SG
Refractometer ("calibrated"), between 1.025-1.026 SG
Milwaukee MA887 - 1.027 SG

I will at this point trust the Hanna more than the other two, simply because it has a traceable reference solution to calibrate off of. Debating selling the Milwaukee or just keeping it for "dirty" tank use (like the QT tanks).

Happy with the purchase, the reagent box is like three times as big as the unit itself heh. Expiry on them is November 2023. I'll continue to see how things go, but I think they have a winner in this unit versus all the other "pens" coming onto the market.
