There are already lots of families who have lost everything and since flooding is considered an "Act of God" in insurance-speak, that means most won't be able to make insurance claims to get compensated for their loss and have the money to rebuild. Some may have optional flood insurance, but a lot of people don't.

That is very sad indeed! Lots of folks without insurance! Some homes have 4 feet of water in them! WTF are they going to do!
