Juvenile Crosshatch Trigger.....
Say "Hello" to my little friend.
It took me
forever
to track one down this small. It's approx. 4" in length and eating anything I feed it - frozen, pellets, flake.
The tail looks redish (male indicator) while in my hand but is actually more yellow (female indicator) while swimming around. While swimming; there are hints of red that are prevalent along the fringes of the tail.
Or...perhaps it's wishful thinking.
It also likes to be "pet" while being fed - seriously. It will allow me to stroke its side when I place my hand in the water.
