Default Sad day for me.....

For those of you think that your proven coral eating fish might be special and won't touch your corals as long as you keep them well fed is some what of a daydreamer, in my opinion. I have kept my Moorish idol and copper band for near a year and a half, both fish are healthy and fat. I have always known that I can't have any lps in the tank which I have learned to live with but not till just recently I have noticed some of the sps tips are getting "roughed up". Few nights ago, wife alarmed me to the Moorish eating some of the sps polyps, as I turned my head, it took 3 bites out of the Oregon tort. It's at that moment I realize as much as I love that fish I just love my Oregon tort tiny bit more. So I decided to sell or give both fish away, money wasn't a big object as long as my fishes are re-homed in a healthy and good size tank.

So, here is the last few pics of them in the bucket ready for their new adventures. BTW, just to share how I caught them in a sps fill tank with-in 10 minutes and more importantly without breaking anything was total darkness, I used my blue LED flash light by orphik (Thanks Hungie) and just sneaked up and netted them. I was amazed how easy it was!!! If you ever need to catch a fish in the tank, please give it a try.

Although I am sad to see it go but I have no regrets on keep them. Many have said to me you will never be able to keep them...that they will die....I can proudly say that I have kept them and kept them well. I will miss my 2 little guys but tis life. Now....back to the corals!
