Over the years, I've bought LR by the box from J&L as well as hand picking pieces from LFS. Overall, I'm more satisfied hand picking pieces from LFS, even though I pay at least twice as much for it. When mail ordering boxes, you never know what you're going to get - sometimes there might be only 2-3 pieces of rock in a 50 lb box
