You don't have to feed Acans, they do benefit from additional feedings, but in most systems it is not required.

I feed them handfuls of food, I want your beauties to grow grow grow!
I find if there's feeders I FEED them. It may not be needed at all... But I figure why not if it will make them grow quicker
