What about that 400g surge over that swimming pool reef of yours? Come on, if you're going to dump 400g on the order of once per minute, putting a couple LED's over your tank is gonna be cool, but nothing more than a novelty as far as your power bill is concerned. Or do you have plans on putting your own mini-hydro-dam in those ponds in that yard of yours?  |
Now you got me thinking again Tony....lol I will have a small stream pushing alot of water.....
I have been sourcing alot of the most effecient pumps out there, at the same time I dont think Im going to do a surge on that tank anymore as it wont have as many corals in it now because we are putting a 1200+ gallon tank in our living room that will have more corals in it as well as some nice schools of fish(7'-9'x5'x5') It will use some of the most energy effecient pumps on the market, LED lighting, and a few other things to make it special.....
The larger show tank out in the garage will probably just house some sharks, with a few scared fish...
