Yes of course it can be fragged, just make sure it's good and healthy.

I've fragged these with and without a mouth successfully, care should be taken with the specimen after cutting the tissue, I often use iodine dip, placing both the new frag and mother colony in the dip for a few second to help prevent infection.

If you are going to use some kind of saw, it would be best to keep the blade as cool as possible, this will help keep the flesh viable.
