It is a nightmare, I dealt with it just over 2 years ago. Depending on how many fish you have, you'll need a bigger hospital tank. Velvet took out 3 of my 8 fish and I was able to keep the 5 of them in a 20gal. I left my main tank fishless for 3 months just to make sure it was gone.
