exactly - faucet adapter

otherwise, you can hook it up, you just need to drill a 1/4" hole in the drain line....the self-piercing saddle valve can be closed when you leave......just don't install the faucet and drill the counter top.

you gotta get your own RO unit, winter is no time for lugging buckets and RO units are cheap all things considered!
