Well where do I start. Well after buying a vertex 170 cone and some one from J&L telling me that it would be strong enough for my tank.
Ya whatever. Still to selling dry goods. I talked to Mike at Aqua Digital. about the Bubble Magas skimmer's I heard alot about them. and then I thought another POC WRONG. this one had the ehiem pump and after seeing Kien's skimmer and the 2 tanks that he has with them. what the heck So i bought one and the cone is built quite well too.

I would seriously get one if you are looking for a insump skimmer
After a 20 min bath in vinegar i put the beast into the sump. and like literally 3 mins in to skimming
this is 1.5 days of skimming
