Did you know snails are stupid.
Mine have never seen sand bed before. Now if they happen to fall or turn over on the sand, they are like turtles on their back. Completely useless. Even the flip themselves over turbo,s.
On a side note, my red mithrax crabs dont eat them. Last night I watched one approach a turbo that was exposed. He grabbed it and I figured he was going to pick the snail out. Just as I was getting ready to intervene, he flipped the snail over and picked some bubble algae from its top side.
Then he left and the snail crawled away.
