Bring coolers for the frags.

If you're selling, a portable table (unless one is provided) is good. I usually bring a camp chair to sit in & some drinks or munchies (unless provided at the swap meet).

We found that these events are great for buying & selling frags & other livestock, but used equipment sales are much slower, so unless you're selling dirt cheap or giving it away, don't bring too much old, used equipment unless you're prepared to bring most of it back home again.

The Lower Mainland reefers (ie. Greater Vancouver area) just finished a very successful Reef Network organized swap meet at fkshiu's place in Vancouver.

Expect: good deals, good discussions with other fish/coral nuts, and generally a good time.

Some come as buyers, some as sellers, some as lookie-loos, some for the fellowship, and others for a combination of reasons.

As long as you arrive with a good attitude, a pocketful of money (for that fabulous frag you just can't come home without) and a cooler (or cooler bag) to pack everything home in, you're set.
