Its strange because they show no signs of illness, hours before their deaths they were eating and acting normal. And all the coral looks great.

I would not be the regal tang responsible for the death.
Either the most recently added fish carried a pathogen (he would be sick too) or a change ocurred in your water ,temperature or there was oxygen starvation for some reason.
