i think it depends on the type of fish you plan on keeping,normaly i would say no chance with puffers but i guess thats out the window,groupers/snappers/sweetlips/lions wont touch any corals but id be carfull with triggers/puffers and others with sharp teeth

"THE" puffer?

Both tanks had multiple puffers. The first one 4 (dogface, burrfish, greenspotted, porc) and the bottom one 5 (Manila, porc, valentini, greenspotted, stars and stripes).
Have you owned many? Over the six years I have kept saltwater puffers, I have yet to have one eat anything besides Zoas. Thats about 12 puffers or so. Before that I kept brackish puffers for about 12 years...they are destructive!
A thread came up on RC a long time ago about puffers in reefs and there really wasn't many people with serious problems, just kind of the odd one that liked to nip a coral or two.
