I would avoid them, the water brine shrimp hatch out in goes bad really quick and I doubt you want to pollute your tank. I hatch out brine shrimp in inverted 2 litre coke bottles with rigid air line tubing running down into the cap, that with a hole in the bottom large enough for the mouth of a funnel (to add the eggs, salt and water) makes a cheap excellent brine shrimp hatchery. Use two coke bottles and you will have a daily supply of fresh hatched bbs. I use a 60 watt lamp for 24 hour lighting for the bbs.
