Not knowing the type of plumbing you have in your house it's hard to suggest a permanent install (copper or plastic) but you might want to think along those lines.
RO is quite slow and it takes a while to fill your pressure tank(if you have one) so it might tie up your tap for a long time.
Also remember that an RO unit runs best if the water entering is around 70 degrees. Sorry I don't know what that is in celsius. A 25 foot lenght of hose will allow it to heat up a bit more then straight from the tap. I run mine into a bucket full of water with a heater in it. This keep the flow at it's maximum.
