I wouldn't run them on the beach unless you have something to stop them from ending up in the water. It's not uncommon to have a wide open throttle runaway(WOT) and Murphy's law say's that they head into the drink no matter what. Do you have a failsafe on them? Venom makes an affordable failsafe that works fairly well.
