Hi,
Sounds like a software library (DLL) conflict between a new/old version loaded by the screen saver and your existing DLL collection.
This is one of the tougher problems to solve on the windows plafform (other than corrupt registry, sys directory disappearing, DLL problems and etc) -- and keep the screensaver off of the machine. Your best bet is to reload the screensaver and disable from the start->control pannel->display (or desktop).
If that doesn't work...then its reimage time or its time to go to
www.windowsupdate.com and bring your entire system's DLL up to the most recent version.
Hope that helps.
- Victor.
