Mine sits at in a crevice at the top of a rock pile about 10" directly under a 400W Radium bulb. Every morning it stretches its body directly into the light. So I wouldn't say they don't like tons of light, but they can be kept with less light then other anemones.
As for feeding, I usually feed mine every 1-2 weeks, seems fine with that amount.
