I get the feeling this thread is going in the wrong direction.
All I am wanting to accomplish is stop the following dialog box from popping up when I open a Word document:
"The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open. Click OK, and then close open dialog boxes to continue."
I think Matt may be on the right track re: Norton AV. (Scanning the document).
Anyone know how to stop Norton AV from scanning
every single Word document, but still have auto protect enabled?
Is it even possible to stop?
