I think I have an exact same crab as you Chin. I have him in my sump/fuge now but used to see him all the time in the main tank scrapping coraline off of rocks to eat. Never seen him "test" anything else. He just got too big for my 40gal display, so I moved him to the sump. I just assumed he was an "African American Emerald Crab".
