nope not until you go to get rid of it for 3 or 4 bucks you can get a in-line fitting that has a 1/4" compression fitting "T" on the side. you undo your line from the water shut off valve to the sink and put this on and then reconnect it to the end. when you move you just take that part out and hoke everything back up normal.
