Default Seneye NH4 and No3 relationship

Interesting research today into the relationship of NH4 and NO3. The Seneye Monitors when run in conjunction with the seneye web server will not only Monitor the free ammonia but also NH4 Ammonium, it is ammonium that of course under the right parameters can quickly turn into ammonia which of course is deadly where as ammonium in itself is not. However it seems from the research so far monitoring your NH4 level can give the user a useful window into your Nitrate level whether rising or falling. As NH4 rises so too does NO3 (please see graph) so by tracking your NH4 level on your Seneye you can keep a track of your Nitrate if creeping up. More research needs to be done but so far it looks very possible to use the Seneyes powers to give the user a window into their nitrate level

I am not saying this will give you a reading of your exact Nitrate level however it seems from early research the relationship can tell you if your nitrate is rising or falling that could help limit the amount of testing done as the Seneye monitors NH4 amongst other parameters every 30 minutes and reports back to any web based device.
