the best way to be safe is to make sure your power bar is pluged into a GFCI. it is also a good idea to use the test button once in a while to make sure the receptacle is still working properly.

i will watch for a used setup for sure as they seem to be the best deals around. i would also like to be able to get something biger than my 72 as i know that i will want a biger tank in the future.

i don't think that i will be able to part with my cichlids as i have grown very fond of them. i am going to either buy a biger tank to make into my reef or a 55 for my cichlids. depends on the income...
