Each light is individually addressed, so if you provide power they will not light up until they receive a control signal.

+1 on the Herbie System have had it on my 500Gal Reef with no issues...if your really worried about redundancy you can always put an emergancy drain at the top off your overflow.

LPS tend to like dirtier water, so when using coral snow you are helping your skimmer and what not take protein out of the water making it cleaner...So in other words it will make your sps happier...

Its a brand new printer but since it uses timing belts to move the nozzle and bed around you need to adjust the tension for it to print properly, it can be a bit time consuming trying to get it 100%...
