When you clean them make sure you use a warm water/vinegar solution. That'll hopefully remove any deposits of whatever. Don't use soap of any kind. But that's perhaps blatenly obvious.

+1 to what Glenn said. Most ISPs won't allow SMTP access outside of their own SMTP mail servers. It's a spam blocking thing. Telus, Shaw and many others do it this way.

But a bathtub is supposed to be re-enforced with an extra or two 2x10 joists under the floor. The same with a toilet or anything else heavy and stationary in a house.
