Dont use the hob overflow. Drill the tank and put a bulkhead in, it will save tou the worry of wondering if the siphon fails

Question Same here

I have a pink tip anemone and he does the same thing if i move him he just moves back down the rock and into the shade.
My carpet anemone shrinks when the blue antinics are on then opens back up...

Green Carpet Anenmone

Ive had my green carpet now for almost 3 months and every so often he shrinks from 7 cm across to the size of a toonie and almost gets burried in the sand.

Hello all
Setting up a larger sump and adding a refugium with carib sea mineral mud.
Can you just have the mud or do you need a fine sand substrate ontop?

For lighting 2 t5 good for fish only, try to aim for somewhere between 3 to 5 watts per gallon for a reef tank to keep corals happy and growing...

The lower one is your drain to sump the upper one u can plumb into drain incase one gets plugged up. Have your return pump line...
