Just make note that the Ca/Alk/Mg level is NSW values (410/7.0/1250), so if you keep elevated alk for LPS, then you'll want to boost it up.

Same here. Once a week during waterchanges I will open the valve a bit and "boil" the GFO. I find that gets more life out of it, and breaks up any tunneling that has formed.

Yeah, I've already been asking about the auto feeder. :) I was even hoping that maybe it would control the Apex auto feeder, but I haven't been able to find that out yet.
