i would love it if the ghl doser allowed you to do a spot dose! standing there and holding the button down for a minute or more takes forever! well... a minute (sometimes more).

Was shooting manual on a nikon d80 with a 105mm macro. I don't really know a whole lot about camera speak but it was set to F22. For white balance I just set my camera to 9900K bulb...

while your diy is admirable it'd be easier to just pickup some BRS chems. Mine mix crystal clear and only the alk has the slightest bit of cloud to it by the time my gallon jug is depleted. no mixing...

i'll bet if your reef is always at 83 it's no big deal. as someone said the swing seems to be deadlier than the peak temp if the swing is large enough.
