I can always hope! I had the pump in a plastic tote full of fish gear during a move, I guess the banging around wasn't so good for the shaft. I'm keeping my skimmer as it works great and not made...

LF - Tank for Sump
Looking for a tank with a 36"x18" foot print and height around 18" or more that I want to turn into a sump. I don't care about scratches but no chips, cracks or leaks. Thanks!

It might work with a North American to European plug adaptor. Don't know, I'll have to research into it. I wouldn't need it until the Tunze pump died but maybe I'll get a good one that lasts forever...

Yes anything mechanical or electrical can fail, and Tunze has both. Lots of people on this forum and many others that don't use Tunze and have never had problems either. Tunze makes a good product...
