What I have at the moment is a 30 gal tank for mixing saltwater, and a feed off my pump that runs to my basement drain. The mixing tank has a power head that has a "closed loop" and a feed to the...

I like the point system
I while ago there was a thread on having a 20 gal contest that never ended up really going anywhere. But the "point" idea I think is a good one.
This allows for the guy that wants to spend silly...

I don't think it will fit
Considering that it is a PCI-E video card, I don't think your computer will actually have a spot to put one if it is older. You probably have an AGP port instead.

Wireless security
Ok, just to answer a few questions and point out an option!
In my favorite wireless analogy, think of a wireless router and computer as a cordless phone base and handset. WEP/WPA/WPA2 are just...

For a techincal point of view
What would be best really depends on what you are trying to cool.
There is a lot of things to take into consideration here. CFM of the fans, how well the canopy seals and the air volume of the...

My setup is similar ~1700gph
I just pulled my dart and replaced it with a snapper. But my setup is close to what you are planning, but without the sea swirls. I would recommend going with 1.5" spaflex (what I have) as it will...

First, it is 12' of "head" that the pump stops working at, NOT 12' of pipe, and the frictional losses depend heavily on the pipe size. 1.5" pipe is more than enough for a dart.
Second, are you...

Sorry to hijack the tread a bit. But the dual/quad question is always fun. Once upon a time the single cores were MUCH higher clock rate than the dual. Not so much anymore. Yes, games don't...
