They had a box of that stuff sitting in the store where you can buy it by the piece. It was all really small chunks. I guess if you are going to cover it with larger chunks of liverock it would be ok...

Looking for hang-on skimmer in Vancouver area.

Doesn't really matter what kind as long as it is relatively cheap, in working order and as long as it is good enough for a 50 gallon and that is is relatively quiet.
